Consultation hours

Are you struggling with something or want to be tested for STIs? Do you have a question about your body, or would you like a listening ear? For all your questions we welcome you to come during our consultation hours. The consultation hours are for everyone: women, men and transgender people. The consultations are confidential and free of charge.

Do you need an STI test? You can do so free of charge and anonymously at ACS.

We test for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, hepatitis B, syphilis and HIV. And we can also test for genital herpes and genital warts. We advise you to come in every 3 months for an STI check-up.

We also offer hepatitis A and B vaccinations.

As a sex worker, your sexual health is very important. Do you have questions about your body, gender (identity), about sex or your sexuality? You can come to us for all such questions. For example, pregnancy and abortion, sex techniques or drug and substance use whilst at work. You can talk to the ACS nurses about anything to do with sex.

This consultation hour is free and anonymous. You can also leave your initial question in the contact form. One of our nurses will respond.

Topics you can discuss include:

• Sex techniques (such as deep throating, rimming, toys, prostate play)
• The pill and other contraceptives
• Pregnancy test
• Abortion
• Pain during intercourse and sex
• Premature ejaculation or inability to ejaculate
• Excessive or decreased sexual desire
• Problems with an erection
• Not enjoying sex
• Fetish/Kink
• Drugs and substance abuse during sex (work)
• An unpleasant experience with sex

Do you have a more practical question, would like advice or are looking for a listening ear? Then schedule an appointment with an ACS social worker. All consultations with a social worker are confidential and free of charge.
