Soa\u2019s die veroorzaakt worden door een bacterie worden ook wel bacteri\u00eble soa genoemd. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan Chlamydia, Gonorroe en Syfilis.<\/p> Soa\u2019s veroorzaakt door een virus worden virale soa genoemd. Bijvoorbeeld herpes genitalis, genitale wratten (HPV), hepatitis A, hepatitis B en HIV.<\/p> Een bacteri\u00eble soa is goed te genezen. Een antibioticakuur (pillen) of -injectie doodt de bacteri\u00ebn. Na de behandeling (meestal na een week) ben je niet meer besmettelijk. Je kunt wel weer opnieuw besmet worden. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer je onbeschermde seks hebt of na een klapcondoom.<\/p> Niet alle virale soa zijn te genezen. Je kunt het virus (en daarmee de klachten) dan wel remmen of onderdrukken met medicijnen. Vooral wanneer je symptomen hebt (zoals genitale wratjes of herpesblaasjes), ben je besmettelijk. Daarom is het goed om deze symptomen te behandelen, zo is de kans op besmetting van je klanten en\/of je partner het kleinst.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.20.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" custom_margin=\"||40px||false|false\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p> Ziekteverwekkers (bacteri\u00ebn en virussen) van een soa kunnen voorkomen in de vagina, penis, anus, mond en keel. Maar ook in vaginaal vocht, voorvocht, sperma, bloed en ontlasting. Ook transgender personen die een operatie aan de genitali\u00ebn hebben gehad, kunnen een soa krijgen.<\/p> Een soa kan je oplopen door onbeschermde seks met iemand die een soa heeft. Dus wanneer je (anale) seks hebt zonder condoom, of als je een klapcondoom hebt. Ook door pijpen zonder condoom of bij beffen zonder beflapje kan je een soa oplopen. Je kan zelfs al een soa krijgen wanneer de penis tegen de vagina of anus wrijft, dus zonder dat er geneukt wordt. Soa's kunnen ook via handen en vingers worden overgedragen. [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.20.4\" _module_preset=\"default\" custom_margin=\"||0px||false|false\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p> Vaak merk je niet dat je een soa hebt en heb je weinig tot geen klachten.<\/p> Via deze klachten herken je een soa:<\/p> Wil je weten of je een soa hebt? Doe dan een soa-test<\/a>. Dat kan bij ACS gratis en anoniem. Ook voor eventuele behandeling (meestal gratis) kan je bij ons terecht.
